Thomas E. Pavlak, age 74, of Hopkins passed away peacefully surrounded by all of his family on January 19, 2016. Tom was born on March 19, 1941 to Emil and Julia (Arbanas) Pavlak in Allegan, MI. On August 24, 1963 he married his high school sweetheart, Janet Miller. Tom loved farming and seeing God's hand in nature, especially the smell of freshly plowed fields and newly cut hay. He always had a dog at his side and his most recent sidekick TJ will miss him greatly. He will be dearly missed by: his mother Julia, wife Janet, children Jill Krcatovich, Jennifer (Kelly) Brower, Jon (Tamie) Pavlak, Mindy (Matt) Krcatovich, Molly (Mike) Schlatter, Megan Roxbury, Jason (Samreet) Pavlak and Beth (Barb Jackson) Pavlak, 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings Janet Robyler, Bill (Laura) Pavlak, Teri (Tim) Dimock, Mike (C.Lee) Pavlak, Scott (Chris) Pavlak, in-laws Sue (Mike) Fein, Jim Miller, Dan (Sandy) Miller, Bob (Ann) Miller, Bruce (Sheryl Noel-Miller) Miller along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his father in 1977, sisters Patricia Wellington Davis and Juliann Brenner, brothers Dennis and Randy Pavlak, in-laws Arlen Brenner, Leon Robyler, Keith Wellington, Marge Pavlak and Joan Miller and mother and father-in-law Orvil and Dorothy Miller. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Kubiak-Cook Dorr Chapel from 4pm until 8pm. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11am. Private interment will take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorials in Tom's name can be made to St. Stanislaus School or the National Kidney Foundation.
