Richard "Dick" Hayward, age 84 of Holland, passed away December 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son Mark Hayward, his sisters Doris Wycoff and Dorothy Jukes and his brothers Carl and Russell Hayward; and daughter-in-law Victoria Hayward. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Patricia Hayward; his sons: Rick (Patricia) Hayward, Bruce (Janet) Hayward, Glenn (Loretta) Hayward, and Craig (Mary) Hayward; his 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; his sisters Joyce Spears, Nancy (John) Jacobs, and Shirley (Ron) VanNess; and several nieces and nephews. Dick served in the U.S. Marines. He worked at the Kalamazoo Paper Mill/Georgia Pacific for 44 years, retiring in 1992. Dick and Patricia attended Dorr Baptist Church and formerly attended First Baptist Church of Wayland. Friends may visit with Dick's family on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 PM at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland, with an hour of visitation prior to service time. Pastor Richard Helderop will be officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Dick may be made to Gentiva Hospice. Please share memories of Dick with his family at
