Herman Snyder, age 89 of Wayland, passed away February 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Snyder, children: Susan Littlefield, his brothers and sisters: Theresa (Charles) Carten, Garret James Snider, George (Katherine) Snider, John (Dawn) Snider, and brother-in-law Ervin Salik and sister-in-law Lee Snider. Herman will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann Nausieda; his children: Terri (Henry) Lutostanski, Rick (Lynn) Snyder, Jim (Roberta) Snyder, Charles (Nancy) Snyder, and Sandi (Craig) Nicely; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother: Pete Snider and his sister Katie Salik; and many nieces and nephews. He was born May 6, 1926 to Mr. & Mrs. Joe Snieder. Herman was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Navy for two years, stationed on the USS Piedmont. He retired from General Motors after 33 years. Herman was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and attended SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Friends may visit with Herman's family Friday, February 5, 2016, from 10-11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, Wayland. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM with Father Christian Johnston presiding with military honors. Interment at Winchester Cemetery. Donations in memory of Herman may be made to either the St. Therese or SS Cyril & Methodius Building Fund. Please share memories or condolences with the family at
